StoryTime was built for children aged 5–13. Every design decision, content choice, and data practice is evaluated through one lens: is this good for the child?
There are no advertisements of any kind within StoryTime. Children are never exposed to commercial content, third-party promotions, or targeted advertising. The subscription model exists precisely so we never need to monetise children's attention through ads.
StoryTime has no microtransactions, no loot boxes, and no ability for a child to make purchases within the app. Coins and diamonds can only be earned through reading — they cannot be bought. All subscription payments are managed by parents through Apple or Google billing.
Children cannot create their own accounts. All accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. Child profiles exist only within a parent account. Parents have full visibility and control over their child's experience through the parent dashboard.
StoryTime has no chat, no messaging, no social sharing, no community features, and no ability for children to communicate with other users within the app. It is a solo learning experience with no external interaction.
All stories and activities are designed for children aged 5–13. Content is reviewed to ensure age-appropriateness. There is no violence, no adult themes, no scary content, and no material unsuitable for children. Story themes are wholesome, imaginative, and educational.
The app does not contain links to external websites or third-party content that children could access. All content lives within the StoryTime environment.
We collect only the minimum personal information required to deliver the app's educational features. We do not collect children's location, contacts, photos, or any unnecessary personal data. We do not sell any data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
