StoryTime was born from one question: what would it take to build a product that makes children choose to read — not because they must, but because they genuinely want to?
StoryTime is built by Codklusters Education — a team of parents, educators, and technologists united by one belief: that the reading habit is one of the most important gifts a child can develop, and that technology has failed to build it properly.
Every reading app we tried with our own children followed the same pattern: exciting for a week, abandoned by the third. Not because our children lacked curiosity — but because nothing was engineered to make them want to come back.
So we built StoryTime. Not as a better reading app. As the world's first English Reading Habit App — where the reward economy, the curriculum, and the story-first experience are all designed around one outcome: a child who reads every day because they choose to.
Four principles guide every product decision we make.
We are a small, focused team of people who care deeply about children's education and the role technology plays in shaping it. We build slowly, thoughtfully, and always with the child's experience as our north star.
